The Community of Mindfulness in Israel practices the mindfulness tradition of Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh and the Plum Village community.
We meet weekly for meditation in small practice groups throughout the country.
We conduct days of mindfulness approximately every six weeks and organize larger retreats at least twice a year.
On this website you can find texts, recordings and other materials useful for beginning and maintaining your mindfulness practice
What we should ask ourselves is if we are practicing love for ourselves, because to love ourselves means to love our community. If we’re able to love ourselves, to nourish ourselves correctly, to not intoxicate ourselves, we’re already protecting and nurturing our society. Because the moment we’re able to smile, to look at ourselves with compassion, our world begins to change. – Thich Nhat Hanh
